South Western Railway (SWR) in London area seeks a technically skilled professional to support Wimbledon Traincare Depot with safety, quality and performance oversight. You will adhere to depot procedures, carry out audits, investigate safety issues and assist maintenance teams across the Fleet Engineering function.

The holder of this post is responsible for providing an effective service for technical, quality and safety matters to the Depot Manager, Technical Performance Manager and depot management team. The holder will adhere to depot protection, safety, quality and environmental procedures, rules and regulations in force.
Wimbledon Traincare Depot is a short walk from Wimbledon Park station and recently launched our new Class 701 fleet, marking a significant milestone in the £1bn transformation of suburban travel. Drivers, maintenance and other depot colleagues are currently in training to develop the new skills needed for this generation of train that will be fitted with all new modern technology. Wimbledon depot will eventually become the new maintenance home for the entire Class 701 fleet.
