The Project

The Performance and Reporting Manager (senior) is responsible for supporting the PMO Performance and Reporting Lead with the review and development of a performance and reporting framework, including the development of processes and procedures, systems and controls, and reporting templates to ensure the accurate and timely reporting of the performance of the AMP8 Framework. The role holder supports the team in ensuring that the performance and reporting framework is complied with across the project and that reporting deliverables and associated performance analysis adhere to relevant quality and standards.

They also support the establishment of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), oversee the gathering of programme data including reporting project performance, and ensure effective implementation of the quality management system, meeting all statutory, legal and contractual requirements.

The role engages stakeholders to drive compliance, strengthen risk management and support a resilient, high‑performing business. It acts as a key enabler of organisational change and continuous improvement.

You’ll Be Responsible For

• Supports the establishment of Programme Controls reporting requirements and formats for the AMP8 Framework.
• Develops forms and tools for collecting project and programme status information.
• Coordinates production and distribution of key weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
• Supports the establishment and maintenance of the weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting calendar.
• Supports the design, implementation and governance of the programme’s performance reporting framework.
• Manages and mentors a team of reporting analysts and engineers, ensuring high‑quality outputs and professional development.
• Oversees the development and delivery of programme‑level reports, dashboards and performance insights for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborates with project controls, finance, risk and delivery teams to ensure integrated and consistent reporting.
• Maintains Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned with strategic objectives and delivery milestones.
• Ensures compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements and best practices in reporting.

You’ll Need To Have

• Minimum Level 8 degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area, e.g., engineering, construction, project management.
• Project Management Certification from a recognised institution such as PRINCE2, PMI, PMP or CAPM.
