Performance Marketing Manager

Location: Birmingham (Hybrid)

Type: Freelance 3 days a week (£300/day) or Permanent (£45-55k DOE)

I'm working with a brilliant independent marketing agency that partners with exciting challenger and FMCG brands. They focus on food, drink, and lifestyle sectors, and are looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to join their team.

This is a key hire offering the chance to own the performance marketing aspects, including paid media, CRM, email, e-commerce, and Amazon.

Responsibilities:

• Running paid media campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Google Ads, YouTube, and Amazon
• Owning the email marketing strategy via Klaviyo, including automations and lifecycle journeys
• Collaborating with clients to improve Shopify site performance and conversion rates
• Managing Amazon Ads and storefronts using SEO and data insights
• Participating in campaigns on retailer platforms like CitrusAd
• Reporting on performance metrics and identifying optimization opportunities
• Working with the creative team to develop campaign assets
• Mentoring a junior team member and contributing to business growth

Requirements:

• 3-5+ years' experience in performance/digital marketing
• Proficiency with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Amazon Campaign Manager, TikTok, Pinterest
• Strong CRM/email marketing knowledge (Klaviyo preferred)
• Data-driven mindset with a focus on performance improvement
• Proactive, commercially minded, and adaptable across multiple brands
• Agency experience is a bonus but not essential
