The role of a Performance Marketing Graduate at Canonical

We’re looking for a performance marketing manager to join our team and own our paid strategy.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology, technology marketing, and the use of technology in marketing. You will also enjoy problem-solving, hands-on work, experimentation, measurement, and using automation to simplify daily tasks.

The Marketing team at Canonical drives commercial outcomes across its product portfolio and expands the market through digital campaigns, lifecycle management, events, partnerships, and community development. If these areas excite you and motivate you to drive growth, delight customers, and fill the sales funnel, we want to talk with you.

This role reports to the Growth Engineering Manager and is based remotely in the EMEA region.

What your day will look like

  • Supporting marketing team members with setting up and monitoring paid campaigns
  • Monitoring paid performance and budgets
  • Leveraging automation and AI to improve paid performance
  • Developing Canonical's adtech stack to an industry-leading standard

What we are looking for in you

  • Hands-on experience with ad platforms (Google, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.)
  • Familiarity with campaign tracking and analytics tools
  • Experience in successful lead generation campaigns
  • Experience with A/B testing and data-driven decision making
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build trusting relationships across teams
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality
  • A growth mindset, willingness to think big and take risks
  • Interest in the latest marketing technology trends
  • Willingness to travel up to 4 times a year for internal events
