Job summary

Apprentify in Wilmslow is seeking a Performance Manager to lead a growing delivery team delivering apprenticeship programmes across digital, data and AI standards. You will run structured 1:1s, performance reviews and development plans to drive outcomes and learner progression.

This role requires a people leader who can coach coaches, ensure quality and compliance, and build stability in a fast-moving scale-up environment. Collaboration with Quality, Enablement and Compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience managing delivery or professional staff in education, training or regulated environments.
• Proven track record of running structured 1:1s, performance reviews and development plans.
• Confident handling underperformance and tough conversations.
• Strong understanding of quality and compliance in apprenticeships or similar regulated delivery.
• Data-led approach to performance management.

Responsibilities

• Lead 1:1s, performance reviews and development planning for coaches and trainers.
• Oversee learner engagement, progression and risk management.
• Partner with Quality, Enablement and Compliance to ensure standards.
• Maintain accountability and stability within a growing, fast-paced delivery team.
• Address underperformance early with constructive action.
