Job summary

Ancient + Brave, a female-founded wellness brand based at our riverside HQ in Lewes, East Sussex, seeks a performance-driven designer for high-volume paid social work. You’ll design static and motion assets from briefs, iterate quickly and build variants for testing while keeping our brand identity strong.

You’ll collaborate with a small, close-knit squad, use AI where helpful, and help shape campaigns across Meta with future TikTok scope. This is an in-office role in Lewes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing for paid social at volume, in-house or agency side.
• Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite. Comfortable in After Effects for motion, and in Figma.
• Enthusiastic, curious about using AI to aid creativity at scale and pace.
• Understand what makes creative perform on Meta, with hooks, hierarchy and branding.
• Experience with testing plans and producing structured variants.
• DTC brand experience, ideally wellness, beauty, supplements or food and drink.
• Editing ability is beneficial.
• Fast and precise under high volume and pace.
• Motivated by results and feedback to improve work.
• Channel-focused expertise; team player in a small squad.
• Organised, meticulous about naming, structure and filing.

Responsibilities

• Design statics, carousels, stories and motion assets for paid social channels.
• Build variants for testing across format, aspect, hook, offer and audience.
• Iterate based on performance; refresh assets as needed.
• Collaborate with Strategist, Social Video Editor, and Art Director.
• Develop work across multiple markets, adapting the core brand as required.
• Support wider design work on brand assets, packaging and campaign needs.
