Job summary

SIS Ltd is seeking a proactive HR & Talent Acquisition Advisor in Milton Keynes for a hybrid role (minimum 3 days in office). The position combines Talent Acquisition (50%) and HR Operations (50%) across the employee lifecycle, offering a varied, stakeholder-focused career.

You will lead end-to-end recruitment, partner with managers, manage onboarding and HR documentation, and provide practical HR guidance while supporting payroll coordination and reporting. CIPD qualification desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in a broad HR role covering Talent Acquisition and HR Operations.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes independently.
• Strong understanding of HR best practice, employment legislation and the employee lifecycle.
• Experience preparing contracts, HR documentation and maintaining employee records.
• Knowledge of payroll coordination, benefits administration and HR reporting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data and produce meaningful reports.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience using HR systems, ideally SelectHR.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment activities, from vacancy approval through to offer and onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand needs and develop sourcing strategies.
• Write engaging job adverts and role profiles; source candidates via LinkedIn, job boards, direct search.
• Screen applications and conduct first-stage interviews; coordinate interviews with managers.
• Manage offers, references, right-to-work checks and pre-employment screening; produce recruitment reports and metrics.
• Provide HR support across the employee lifecycle: onboarding, contracts, benefits, promotions, payroll liaison, GDPR compliance.
• Produce HR reports and dashboards; support audits and HR improvement projects.
