Job Purpose

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented People Systems Specialist to join our People Team. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management and continuous improvement of iTrent and other People systems, ensuring they are effectively supporting colleagues, managers and People teams across the business. What you'll be doing

  • Acting as the day-to-day specialist for iTrent and other People systems, providing support and guidance to users across the business.
  • Maintaining organisational structures, system settings, user access, approval workflows and system records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Investigating system issues, resolving problems where possible and coordinating with suppliers and IM&T teams when escalation is required.
  • Supporting recruitment and onboarding systems, including maintaining workflows, templates, candidate communications and compliance tracking processes.
  • Working with People teams to identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce manual administration and improve self-service functionality.
  • Coordinating and testing system updates, upgrades and enhancements, ensuring changes are thoroughly checked before implementation.
  • Producing and supporting standard reports, data extracts and system audits while helping to improve data accuracy and reporting reliability.
  • Creating user guides, delivering system training and helping colleagues develop confidence in using People systems effectively.
  • Contributing to People systems projects and continuous improvement initiatives, helping to enhance processes and the overall colleague experience.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience administering and supporting a People, HR or payroll system, including managing system settings, user access and organisational data.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate system issues, identify root causes and implement practical solutions.
  • Good Excel skills, including the use of formulas, lookups, filters and pivot tables to analyse and validate data.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with experience maintaining accurate records, testing system changes and working with sensitive data.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly, support users and deliver training to a range of audiences.
