Spinwell Global Limited is recruiting a People Strategy Advisor for a public sector opportunity in London. The role is hybrid with onsite induction and 1-2 days on site weekly, based on business needs; Tuesday is the anchor day.

SC clearance is requested and the position is contract until 31 March 2027. You will bring Civil Service HR expertise, stakeholder engagement skills, and experience in workforce planning and strategic people initiatives to support government HR and L&D policies.

• Civil Service HR experience with knowledge of HR policies, procedures and workforce management.
• Ability to communicate complex topics to stakeholders across grades and SCS.
• Experience producing workforce reporting and MI for strategic decision-making.

Spinwell is recruiting for a People Strategy Advisor for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PEOPLE STRATEGY ADVISOR

• Previous Civil Service HR experience with a strong understanding of HR policies, procedures and workforce management practices.
• Strong Stakeholder Management / Engagement skills
• Experience supporting workforce planning, people operations or strategic people initiatives.
• Experience from a previous CS HR role with an understanding of HR policies and process and/or strategic planning.
• Ability to communicate complex and often sensitive topics to Stakeholders across grades and SCS
• Sound judgement, evidence, and knowledge to arrive at accurate, expert, and professional decisions and advice - a strong problem-solver.
• Working Knowledge of government HR and L&D policies and systems and processes
• Excellent Written Skills and close attention to detail - communicating in a straightforward, honest, and engaging manner, choosing appropriate styles to maximise understanding and impact
• Track record of streamlining processes and making efficiencies
• Experience of business change and or people change projects
• Highly organised adaptable and willing to work flexibly as required.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE PEOPLE STRATEGY ADVISOR

• Associate CIPD Qualification
• Understanding of Defence is nice to have
• Experience working within complex government, defence, or public sector environments.
• Experience producing workforce reporting and management information to support strategic decision-making.
