Job summary

Spinwell Global Limited is seeking an HR Digital Roadmap Programme Lead on a 12-month contract, hybrid in Reading with on-site presence up to 3 days per week. You will drive the digital transformation of the HR function, shaping a multi-year Workday HR technology roadmap, leading change management, data analytics and vendor management to improve automation, user experience and HR efficiency.

Spinwell is recruiting for a HR Digital Roadmap Programme Lead for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE HR DIGITAL ROADMAP PROGRAMME LEAD

The Future Capability and Digital Roadmap Lead is responsible for driving the digital transformation of the HR function. This role shapes and innovates the future of people applications and their role in driving process, experience and insight efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, digital tools, and change management.

This involves digital strategy development, technology implementation, process improvement, change management, data analytics, employee experience, training and development, vendor management and compliance, as detailed below:

• Develop and lead a comprehensive digital HR strategy, including technology selection, implementation, and vendor management.
• Partner with the HR Service Improvement team to streamline and automate HR processes using digital tools, driving adoption through effective change management.
• Leverage HR analytics to enhance decision-making, increase self-service, and reduce unnecessary traffic into the HR service centre.
• Enhance employee experience through digital platforms and ensure training for managers and staff in collaboration with the learning team.
• Ensure compliance of all digital HR initiatives with relevant laws and regulations.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCES OF THE HR DIGITAL ROADMAP PROGRAMME LEAD

• Deep Workday HCM experience, with strong Core HCM knowledge and broad exposure across modules such as Recruiting, Onboarding, Talent, Performance, Learning, Skills, Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking, Help and Reporting.
• Experience creating and delivering multi-year Workday / HR technology roadmaps, ideally in a post-implementation optimisation environment.
• Sufficient functional credibility to challenge Workday solution design, rather than relying entirely on an SI or AMS partner.
• Strong programme leadership, including prioritisation, dependencies, RAID, governance, resourcing and senior reporting.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end HR processes and how technology supports HR operating models, shared services and employee/manager self-service.
• Experience managing and challenging systems integrators, AMS providers and specialist suppliers.
• Ability to translate between HR, technology and senior business stakeholders.
• Evidence of delivering measurable improvements in automation, simplification, user experience, data quality or HR efficiency.
