Job summary

Warburtons in Bolton is seeking a People Projects Manager to lead governance across the People portfolio. You will own the change portfolio, track progress, manage risks, dependencies and budgets, and provide leadership with clear delivery insights.

This role partners with People leaders to prioritise strategic initiatives, enables effective decision-making, and drives continuous improvement of PMO standards. Experience in HR transformation, Power BI and MS Project is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Significant PMO or portfolio management experience within People/HR.
• Experience with organisational change and transformation programmes.
• Strong governance, planning, reporting and risk management expertise.
• Knowledge of HR technology, ideally SAP SuccessFactors.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the People change portfolio and align initiatives to business objectives.
• Establish and maintain governance frameworks, with clear escalation of risks and issues.
• Support delivery plans, monitor milestones, and coordinate dependencies.
• Produce accurate portfolio reporting and insights for leadership.
• Oversee resource allocation, budgets, and benefits realization.
• Drive PMO standards, tools, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build trusted stakeholder relationships and communicate priorities clearly.
