Job summary

Laing O'Rourke is seeking a People Partner to shape culture, develop talent and drive high-performing teams across our UK operations. You will partner with senior leaders to deliver people solutions aligned with strategic objectives and ensure consistent policy implementation.

As a trusted HR partner, you will coach managers, oversee workforce planning, change initiatives, and use data insights to inform decisions. CIPD Level 5 and UK employment law expertise are essential.

Qualifications

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent.
  • Proven HR Business Partner experience in a complex, dispersed organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Commercial mindset with ability to deliver pragmatic people solutions.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and analytical skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and handling people data.

Responsibilities

  • Drive people performance, engagement and development with leaders.
  • Support workforce planning and organisational change.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Lead talent and succession planning across the business.
  • Use data and insights to support decisions.
  • Collaborate with recruitment for diverse and inclusive resourcing.
