People Partner - On-Site Operations Leader

Job summary

Oakleaf Partnership is partnering with a leading organisation within the food and logistics sector to recruit a People Partner for a busy, site-based operation in Crewe. This is a 5 days a week on-site role reporting into the site leadership team.

You will translate people priorities into practical actions, using data and strong relationships to diagnose issues and drive improvements in performance, capability and employee engagement across the site.

Qualifications

• An experienced and driven HR Generalist / People Business Partner with a dynamic, innovative and collaborative approach.
• Confident in building trusted relationships with senior operational leaders and Line Managers.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to operate in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Significant experience across the employee lifecycle and HR projects/organisational change.
• CIPD Level 5 is desirable but not essential, open to candidates with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the operation to translate people priorities into practical, site-based actions.
• Lead and manage a People Advisor to embed a high-performance culture.
• Support workforce planning, performance management and employee relations on site.
• Collaborate with General Manager and Line Managers to drive transformation and engagement.
• Influence senior leaders with data-driven insights and solutions.
