Job summary

Volta is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support its Europe data centre delivery teams. This hands-on role partners with delivery leaders across design, procurement, construction and operations to scale our AI infrastructure projects with effective people processes.

You will guide managers on performance, development, engagement and retention across office and site teams, manage ER cases across multiple European jurisdictions, and collaborate with the wider People team to ensure

Qualifications

• Experience as HRBP within a data centre or hyperscale environment.
• Strong understanding of European employment practices.
• Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and manage ER cases.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with delivery leaders across Europe as the first point of contact for people matters.
• Guide managers on performance, development, engagement and retention across office and site teams.
• Manage employee relations cases with sound judgement across European jurisdictions.
• Support project launches, including employment setup, policies and local compliance.
• Coach leaders on capability and team health in high‑pressure projects.
• Collaborate with Talent Team to align workforce plans with onboarding.
• Develop policies and processes for a multi-country delivery organisation.
• Use data and feedback to advise on engagement and organisational health.
