Job summary

Michael Page in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced People Partner with strong employee relations expertise to support a busy manufacturing site. You will deliver high-quality HR guidance, partnering with leaders to drive positive people outcomes and an outstanding employee experience.

You’ll work closely with the People & Culture team to drive engagement, support HR programmes, and handle complex ER cases through investigations and disciplinary processes.

Qualifications

  • Broad HR Generalist or People Partner experience.
  • Strong employee relations experience including investigations.
  • Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Excellent coaching and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence managers at all levels.
  • Experience using HR systems (SAP SuccessFactors would be advantageous).
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Lead employee relations cases, including investigations, disciplinary and grievance processes.

  • Assist with recruitment activities where on-site support is required, including interviews.
  • Support organisational change and employee lifecycle activities, including exits.
  • Act as a key link between the business and wider HR Centres of Excellence.
  • Help drive employee engagement, data integrity and continuous improvement across HR processes.

As the People Partner, you'll be the first point of contact for managers and employees, delivering high-quality HR support across a broad range of people matters. You'll combine strategic partnering with hands-on operational HR, ensuring consistent, commercially focused and people-centred solutions. Profile

We're looking for an experienced HR Generalist or People Partner who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment.

You’ll Bring
  • Proven experience in a broad HR Generalist or People Partner role.
  • Strong employee relations experience, including investigations and case management.
  • A solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Excellent coaching and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence managers at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience using HR systems (SAP SuccessFactors would be advantageous).
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently.
Job Offer

Salary c£55,000-£58,000 + Bonus & Great Benefits
