Job summary

Michael Page HR is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support business leaders across multiple locations in the UK, delivering strategic and operational HR support that aligns people initiatives with organisational objectives.

The role focuses on employee relations, performance management, compliance, workforce capability and implementing people strategies, while partnering with managers to drive a consistent and positive employee experience.

Qualifications

  • Proven HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor experience.
  • Strong employee relations experience including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management.
  • Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Ability to influence managers at all levels and build credible relationships.
  • Experience implementing people strategies within multi-site environments.
  • Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with managers and regional leaders to deliver the organisation's people strategy and support business objectives.
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance issues.
  • Manage conflict resolution, misconduct investigations and performance improvement processes.
  • Support managers with complex people-related challenges and workforce planning.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies and industry regulations.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple sites and conduct regular site visits.
  • Work closely with the wider HR team to ensure efficient onboarding, accurate employee records and effective HR administration.
  • Support the implementation of new HR systems, processes and people initiatives.
  • Drive consistency in HR practices and contribute to a positive employee experience.
  • Provide both strategic and operational HR support across the business.

Description

Profile

A successful HR Business Partner should have:

  • Proven experience in an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor role.
  • Strong employee relations experience, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management cases.
  • Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Ability to build credible relationships and influence managers at all levels.
  • Experience supporting and implementing people strategies within a multi-site environment.
  • Strong communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage a varied workload effectively.
  • CIPD qualification or working towards it is desirable.
