Job summary

ITRS Group is seeking a People Operations Advisor to support the full employee lifecycle with accuracy and efficiency. You will manage joiners, movers and leavers, update HR systems, and work with Payroll to ensure timely payroll changes.

The role emphasises continuous improvement, data reporting, and scalable processes across global teams, supported by a flexible hybrid working model.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years in HR/People Operations or HR advisory.
• Experience in global or multi-location organisations.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Experience with HR systems and employee data.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR operations support across the full employee lifecycle.
• Manage joiner, mover and leaver processes, including documentation and system updates.
• Support probation, absence, family leave and benefits processes.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data with regular audits.
• Partner with Payroll to ensure payroll-impacting changes are accurate and timely.

• Produce accurate people reporting and operational metrics.

Scope of Role

The People Operations Advisor plays a key role in building a scalable, efficient and future-focused People Operations function. Delivering excellence across the employee lifecycle, the role combines strong operational delivery with data accuracy, technology and continuous improvement to simplify processes, strengthen capability and enhance the employee experience.

As a People Operations Advisor, you will:

• Deliver high-quality day-to-day People Operations support across the full employee lifecycle, providing first-line guidance to employees and managers.
• Manage joiner, mover and leaver processes, including employment documentation, contractual changes, systems updates and stakeholder coordination.
• Support key lifecycle processes including probation, absence, family leave and benefits, escalating complex or employee relations matters appropriately.
• Maintain accurate employee records and People systems, completing regular data audits, resolving discrepancies and maintaining appropriate documentation and controls.
• Partner with Payroll to ensure all payroll-impacting employee changes, systems and supporting documentation are accurate and completed on time.
• Support HRIS administration, system testing and People and payroll transformation initiatives, ensuring systems remain effective and fit for purpose.
• Produce accurate People reporting and operational metrics, using data to identify trends, recurring issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation and simplification, reducing manual administration through smarter workflows, AI and better use of technology.
• Develop and maintain scalable People Operations processes, procedures and templates that support consistent global delivery across ITRS.
• Deliver a responsive, professional and employee-focused service, supporting engagement, wellbeing and culture initiatives while ensuring clear communication and a consistent employee experience.

Requirements

You will have:

• Have at least three years’ experience within HR/People Operations, HR administration or an HR advisory environment.
• Experience working within a global or multi-location organisation, supporting a geographically dispersed workforce.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Good understanding of the employee lifecycle.
• Experience working with HR systems and employee data.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working with confidential and sensitive employee information.
• Strong Excel and general data-handling capability.
• Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Experience supporting payroll processes.
• Experience with process improvement, automation or HR transformation.
• Understanding of employee data reporting and analytics.
