People Officer - HR Data & TUPE (3 Months)

Job summary

Guidant Global in Bridgwater is seeking a People Officer for up to 3 months to support TUPE transfers, HRIS data integrity and people data management.

You will work closely with the Head of People & Communications and the interim People Team Manager to administer TUPE processes, maintain accurate records, prepare reports, support onboarding, and help with compliance, learning and engagement activities while upholding our policies and values.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent HR experience.
• Proven experience in an HR Officer or HR Administrator role.
• Solid understanding of core employment legislation and HR processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Experience of working with HR systems and data input.

Responsibilities

• TUPE administration support for incoming and outgoing transfers.
• Maintain accurate colleague data for TUPE consultation and due diligence.
• Assist with TUPE consultation documentation and record‑keeping.
• Reflect contractual information and transfers within HR systems.
• Ensure TUPE processes are compliant, well‑managed and auditable.
• Maintain HRIS records, absence and leave data; generate reports.
• Produce standard and ad‑hoc HR reports and ensure GDPR compliance.
• Transfer Learning & Development data for new starters and monitor mandatory training.
• Support onboarding delivery with day‑one resources (IT, uniforms).
• Promote and implement HR policies and support engagement activities.
