Job summary

G's Group in Soham is seeking a proactive HR Officer to support operational teams, driving engagement, compliance and continuous improvement of core people processes. You'll partner with managers to deliver People Plans, manage employee relations, and support HR systems rollouts while promoting a positive workplace culture across sites.

With at least 12 months HR experience, you’ll balance day-to-day HR support with projects, data reporting, and governance, contributing to a Great Place to Work

Qualifications

• 12 months HR experience in an operational or generalist role.
• Good understanding of employee relations, engagement, and HR processes.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• A proactive, solution-focused approach with great attention to detail.
• Confidence with HR systems and data reporting.
• Desire to develop further within the HR space.

Responsibilities

• Engagement & Culture: Support Great Place to Work initiatives, cascade survey results, facilitate listening sessions, and coordinate action plans that drive meaningful change.
• People Planning: Work with the HR Director, HR Business Partner, and site leadership to create and deliver People Plans, tracking progress and celebrating success.
• Employee Relations: Provide triage-level ER support and guidance to managers, ensuring compliance with policies and timely resolution of issues.
• Operational Support: Partner with managers on people-related initiatives such as digital transformation projects, process improvements, and training rollouts.
• Learning & Development: Help drive mandatory training completion, support capability development, and promote continuous learning.
• HR Data & Reporting: Prepare people metrics, reports, and board-level slides, bringing insight and commentary to support informed decision-making.
