Job summary

Ward Security is seeking a People Coordinator to join the busy People Team at the Ward Security HQ in Chatham. The role offers hands-on exposure to People activities and a clear path to develop a career in HR.

Based at our Chatham Dockyard site, the role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a salary of £27,000 per annum. You will support onboarding, employee changes and general People administration while building relationships across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration, HR, recruitment or business support.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Professional, approachable and customer-focused.
• Confidential handling of information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Manage the People inbox, acknowledge and respond to enquiries or escalate as needed.
• Provide day-to-day HR administrative support across the People Team.
• Coordinate meetings, diaries, meeting packs and supporting documentation.
• Produce reports and management information with accurate data.
• Support onboarding, changes and leaver administration.
• Build positive relationships with colleagues and managers.
