PEOPLE CHANGE LEAD, PEOPLE CHANGE TEAM

JOB PURPOSE

A pivotal role in driving People change, the People Change Lead is responsible for ensuring the successful scoping, planning, prioritisation and delivery of People change initiatives at easyJet. While effectively managing key stakeholder relationships, they will align change initiatives with our People strategy, oversee the efficient execution of People change programmes, manage resources efficiently and mitigate risks to ensure the successful implementation of People change activity, while also fostering a culture of adaptation, providing support, and facilitating smooth transitions for colleagues.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Plan Creation and Implementation:
  • Lead the development and implementation of detailed plans for People change initiatives within the scope of the People strategy.
  • Initiate the creation of comprehensive project plans encompassing timelines, resource allocation, and milestone identification.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scopes, objectives, and success criteria and ensure strategic alignment across the People function
  • Develop clear and adaptable change management strategies outlining approaches to communication, change and adoption, training and risk mitigation
  • Oversee the execution of plans, ensuring alignment with the People strategy, continual assessment and refinement of plans based on feedback / evolving requirements, focus on effective change implementation and successful project outcomes.
  • Ensure robust programme documentation is in place (e.g. business case, PID, delivery plans, QRAID, status updates, etc)
  • Manage, track, report and maintain end-to-end change plans with clear roles, responsibilities, outcomes, budget and timelines
  • Co-ordinate and chair all project boards and steerco meetings
  • Ensure effective participation in robust People Change governance, including identification and management of all risks, issues and scope changes
  • Report and escalate risks and issues through the relevant channels
  • Provide support in the delivery of key actions across the change programme workstreams as needed

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Change management - A hands on Change Lead with a solid understanding of change management principles, methodologies and frameworks as well as the ability to apply them effectively in practical situations
  • Project coordination - proficiency in coordination and supporting various aspects of change projects, including planning, documentation and resource management
  • Communication skills - strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate change messages clearly, develop communication plans and engagement with stakeholders across different levels
  • Stakeholder engagement - ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, manage concerns and gain buy-in for change initiatives
  • Adaptability and flexibility - agility to adapt to changing circumstances, pivot strategies as need and remain resilient in dynamic environments.
  • Analytical abilities - analytical skills to assess data, gather feedback and assist in the evaluation of change impact and progress
  • Problem solving - proficiency in identifying challenges, proposing solutions and contribution got the resolution of issues that arise during the change process
  • Culture - understanding easyJet's culture and able to work within it's context, recognising and navigating nuances in how we successfully implement change
  • Team collaboration - ability to work collaboratively within the change team and cross functionally, contributing ideas and supporting colleagues in achieving change objectives
  • Commercially astute and able to see the bigger picture, remaining focussed on delivering business benefits within schedule and budget
  • Resilient and able to work under pressure
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project
  • Financial understanding and appreciation (budgeting, reporting, interpretation)
  • Understanding of Workday, Taleo and Service Cloud advantageous but not essential
