Surrey Police & Sussex Police Collaboration is seeking a People Business Partner to join a joint unit operating under Surrey and Sussex Police terms. You will support Public Protection and related functions across both forces, advising on people capability and performance within a fixed-term contract.

You will work from Surrey Police Headquarters in Guildford, with flexible working discussed. The role emphasizes collaboration, relationship-building and proactive governance of local priorities

Qualifications

• Ability to build relationships and work strategically with local Senior Management teams to develop organisational and people capability.
• Proactive collaboration with People Services colleagues to anticipate needs and deliver local priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support Public Protection (Surrey), Specialist Crime Command Investigations (collaborated), Command and resilience (Surrey) and Criminal Justice Department/Custody (both forces).
• Act as an influencer for people performance, identifying gaps and risks within the portfolio and coordinating with Command teams and wider People Services to implement changes.
