Job summary

Impact Food Group is seeking a talented People Business Partner to support our Operations team across the region, partnering with Regional Directors and their Operations Managers. You will help shape a positive workplace culture and drive people initiatives with integrity, boldness and community values.

Based in the Herts/Bucks/Northern Home Counties area, you will lead employee relations, talent development, and change initiatives while ensuring policy consistency and strong stakeholder

Qualifications

  • Excellent collaboration and agile mindset.
  • Experience in a multi-site HRBP role (50+ sites ideal).
  • Fast-paced HRBP experience in food/retail/catering/hospitality preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide true partnering service to Regional Operations Directors across 200+ schools.
  • Manage employee relations and guide complex cases.
  • Support talent development, succession planning and training initiatives.
  • Advise managers on policy implementation and change programs.

We’re now looking for a talented and highly organised People Business Partner to join and play a vital role in supporting our business.

Due to continued business growth an exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced HR Business Partner to join us with a focus on the Operations team in the field, you will collaborate closely with our Regional Directors and their Regional Operations Managers. Reporting to our People Director you will joining a growing People team that is making a real impact on the success of Impact Food Group.

Responsibilities:
  • People Business Partner will provide a true partnering service to the Regional Operations Directors across approx. 200 plus schools.Supporting the People Director with strategic people initiatives and ensuring these are delivered effectively.
  • Manage employee relations issues and empower stakeholders to manage high level complex cases.
  • Working with the Engagement, Development & Talent HRBP to ensure presence of talent at every level is in plan with clear succession plans as well as working to identify gaps and create robust training plans.
  • Supporting and driving initiatives that support the Engagement, Development & Talent HRBP to increase engagement levels and improving staff retention within the territory that you support.
  • Guide and advise managers on understanding IFG policies and the practicalities of implementing all policies and procedures consistently and effectively.
  • Support in Company transformation/change programs and people initiatives by acting as a positive influence and change agent to drive positive cultures amongst our teams.
What we are looking for
  • Excellent collaborator with a flexible and agile growth mindset.
  • Worked in a multi-site HRBP role – ideally 50 plus sites
  • Worked in a fast-paced HRBP role – ideally Food, Retail, Catering or Hospitality.
  • You will be positive, resourceful, engaging whilst having excellent relationship capability and influencing skills.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of how to build organisations in which talent thrives and is inclusive.
  • Proven experience integrating the needs of the business with a great people agenda.
  • Strong skills in leading change, project management & building relationships.
Desirable
  • Significant experience managing complex and high-risk employee relations cases.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment practice, organisational change, consultation, restructures and TUPE.
  • Commercial awareness, with the ability to translate business priorities into practical people plans.
  • Confidence advising, coaching and constructively challenging senior leaders.
  • Experience of workforce planning, talent development and improving leadership capability.
