Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust as a new People Business Partner.

As a People Business Partner, your role will be to lead the provision of a strategic, operational, and business-focused people relations service to all staff within the Division. This includes workforce planning and development, resourcing, employee relations, and leading organizational change, staff development, and training.

You will act as a conduit to the Divisional leadership, on behalf of the people team, to commission work for your business area as needs demand.

We seek a team player with excellent persuasion and negotiation skills, a flexible approach, drive, energy, and the personality to make an immediate impact. The ideal candidate will have a CIPD qualification or equivalent knowledge, experience in change management, and developing new roles and ways of working.

This post is primarily based at Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, 6 Orsman Road, and offers the flexibility to work from home 1-2 days per week.

Main duties of the job
  1. Lead the provision of a strategic, operational, and business-focused people partner service to staff within your specialty, including workforce development, organizational change, and staff training.
  2. Manage delivery of People indicators, such as sickness and appraisal targets, cost improvement plans, and workforce change.
  3. Contribute to the development and implementation of the People Plan and service plans.
  4. Manage a Trust-wide corporate project or specific areas related to People/OD under the guidance of the Deputy Director of People.
