Job summary

Pion is hiring a People Advisor to join our London team and lead the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including onboarding, IT setup, probation tracking, and payroll inputs.

You will advise managers on performance and employee relations, drive quarterly scoring, coach PIPs, and escalate formal matters to the CPO. Based near London with flexibility to be in Workhub 1–2 days a week, you will also run the London office on-site lead, ensuring a safe, hosted space and smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a generalist People/HR role, covering onboarding to offboarding.
• Confidence in advising and coaching managers through performance conversations.
• Experience turning people data into insights that managers can act on.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end new starter and leaver experiences for departments, including inductions, IT setup, probation tracking, and payroll inputs.
• Advise managers on performance and employee relations, driving quarterly performance scoring, coaching PIPs and escalation to the CPO.
• Build manager capability through coaching and development planning, and contribute to staffing plans.
• Turn people data into insight by coordinating pulse surveys, monthly dept decks, and improving People workflows.
• Run the London office as on-site lead, ensuring safety, hosting, facilities, health & safety, bookings, events, and daily operations.
