Gist, part of the M&S Group, is seeking a proactive People Advisor for its Faversham site. You will partner with the People Partner and leadership to deliver practical HR support, focusing on employee relations, coaching and strong HR fundamentals.

This hands-on role helps shape the employee experience within a site undergoing change and transformation, balancing day-to-day ER with business priorities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HR advisory, employee relations or generalist HR within operational environments.
• Strong understanding of employment law, HR policy and ER best practice.
• Ability to coach managers and influence decision-making.
• Experience using HR data to identify people priorities and actions.

Responsabilités

• Act as first point of contact for employee relations and provide pragmatic advice to managers.
• Support absence, performance, conduct and other ER processes with fair, consistent handling.
• Ensure compliance with policy and employment law and escalate complex cases.
• Coach line managers to build capability in handling people matters.
• Maintain accurate records across HR activities and participate in site-wide people plans.
