River Island is seeking an experienced People Advisor to support line managers in delivering high performance, engagement, and a compliant people agenda at our West London head office. You’ll partner with COEs and the People Partnering team to drive policy and process excellence across the full employee lifecycle.

You will coach managers, develop a strong understanding of our business model, and translate people data into actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Experience advisory on HR policy and processes across the full employee lifecycle.
• Collaboration with COEs and People Partners to deliver employee experience.

Responsabilités

• Advise on HR policy and process at employee and manager level, through the full employee lifecycle.
• Develop understanding of the business model, priorities and challenges to respond to people issues with business outcomes.
• Develop understanding of HR specialisms and how they integrate with COEs.
• Collaborate with the people team to support annual processes like pay review and performance cycles.
• Coach line managers to be self-sufficient in people management scenarios.
• Contribute to a performance-led culture with clear goals and fair performance measurement.
• Mentor People Operations Advisors for 1st line support queries.
• Source and analyse data insights to identify trends and address gaps.
• Support People Partner to deliver functional People Plan activities.
• Build trusted partnerships with managers and leaders.
