Job summary

River Island is seeking a People Partner at our West London Head Office to partner with Brand Marketing, Customer, E‑Commerce, Strategic Partnerships, Supply Chain and IT. You will deliver proactive, commercially focused people support to drive performance and enhance the employee experience.

You will coach leaders, shape talent and succession, support organisational change, and use people data to guide decisions. This is a high-impact role in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in People Partner/HRBP roles.
• Strong stakeholder management and coaching skills.
• Ability to analyse people data and translate insights into practical actions.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Partnering & Stakeholder Support: Build trusted relationships and provide commercially focused people partnering aligned to business priorities.
• Leadership Coaching & Capability: Coach leaders to build high-performing, inclusive teams and promote a performance-led culture.
• Talent & Succession Planning: Support talent identification and development across business areas; contribute to leadership pipelines.
• Organisational Change & People Initiatives: Deliver change programs with employee engagement and support.
• People Insights & Data: Use data to identify risks, trends and opportunities for evidence-based interventions.
• Employee Relations & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with ER and Centres of Expertise to deliver joined-up people solutions.
