Job summary

Morgan Hunt Recruitment is recruiting a People Advisor for a 6-month FTC in a Further Education setting in Middlesex. You will support employees and managers with HR processes and handle employee relations matters.

Reporting to a People Partner, you will provide guidance on performance and absence management, support employee relations cases, and contribute to a positive, compliant workplace environment. Strong communication and safeguarding awareness are essential.

People Advisor, 6 month FTC - Further Education - Middlesex - up to £40,194

This is an exciting opportunity for a People Advisor to join one of the UK's leading FE College Groups.

Reporting into a People Partner you will be responsible for assisting employees and managers with HR processes, handling employee relations matters, and contributing to a positive and compliant workplace environment.

Your key accountabilities will include:

• Providing guidance on People matters including performance management, absence management, and employee relations
• Supporting the Assistant Director in managing employee relations cases, ensuring issues are handled in line the organisation's standards
• Serving as the first point of contact for People-related queries from staff
• Identifying training needs and advising employees on available learning opportunities
• Generating reports to monitor trends and metrics

You should be an experienced People Advisor or an HR Generalist with a track record of managing large volumes of employee relations cases. A strong understanding of HR practices, including employee relations, discipline and grievance, performance management, and absence management needs to be combined with excellent communication skills. An understanding of the importance of Equality and Diversity and Safeguarding is also essential.
