About Our Opportunity

Are you passionate about people and creating meaningful workplace experiences? EMR seeks a proactive People Advisor to support our People Team, enhance engagement, and shape our culture as a leading UK metal recycler.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Manage casework related to performance, absence, and grievances
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and foster an inclusive environment
  • Address employee relations issues fairly and consistently
  • Partner with managers to identify learning needs and develop tailored plans
  • Deliver training and coach managers on people practices
  • Provide insights through data to inform workforce planning
  • Ensure policies are legally compliant and effectively applied

About You

You bring energy, empathy, and expertise. To succeed, you need:

  • A Level 5 CIPD qualification (or equivalent) and solid knowledge of UK employment law
  • Experience in a generalist HR role with case management
  • Strong communication skills to advise and influence stakeholders
  • A passion for continuous improvement and development
  • Experience with HR data systems and insights
  • Valid UK Driving License for site visits 2-3 times per week
