A leading company in the UK is seeking an experienced People Advisor to join their People & Culture Team. This role involves providing exceptional HR support and guidance, ensuring adherence to policies, and coaching managers on Employee Relations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR Best Practices and Employment Law, along with excellent interpersonal skills to inspire and support colleagues.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced People Advisor to provide exceptional support and help deliver a people-centric service to colleagues across the organization.
Working within the People & Culture Team, you will support the People Business Partners by providing professional, customer-focused, and pragmatic generalist people advice and guidance to colleagues, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. You will proactively and reactively advise and coach managers and supervisors on Employee Relations matters, encouraging ownership while remaining supportive and approachable. With a passion for HR, you will support policy reviews and ensure continuous service improvement, maintaining industry knowledge to adapt to new changes.
Previous experience in a people department is essential, along with good knowledge of HR Best Practice and Employment Law. You should be able to create an immediate, polite, positive, and credible impression on others, remaining calm in challenging situations. A confident approach is necessary to inspire others by treating all individuals fairly and consistently. You should feel comfortable taking the initiative and managing time and tasks effectively to achieve objectives.
