St. James’s Place in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Technical Support Consultant with strong pensions knowledge to support Partners and staff in a fast-paced helpdesk environment.

The role focuses on interpreting scheme rules, legislation and processes, translating them into clear guidance, and delivering compliant, high-quality responses. Ideal candidates will handle complex queries calmly, manage multiple priorities, and stay up to date with regulatory changes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in financial services technical support or advisory environment.
• Ability to interpret complex pension rules and legislation.
• Strong written and verbal communication, simplifying complex topics.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support to Partners and Support Staff via multiple channels.
• Deliver accurate, compliant advice to the Partnership of financial advisers.
• Create, review and sign off technical/advice framework materials (articles, website content).
• Maintain professional qualifications through ongoing development.
• Deliver training and mentoring to colleagues to support competency development.
• Contribute to divisional projects and process improvements.
