Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a meticulous Pensions Project Analyst to support a range of pension projects and events. You will perform data mining, data processing, and generate client reports with accuracy and timeliness.

You'll work with Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution and Hybrid schemes, using advanced Excel and Word, and liaising with stakeholders to ensure compliant, high-quality deliverables across projects.

Qualifications

• Experience with Defined Benefit (DB), Defined Contribution (DC) and Hybrid pension schemes.
• Knowledge of pension regulations including GMP/GMPE and disclosure requirements.
• Advanced Excel and Word skills are essential.
• Strong analytical and logical problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to process, collect and input data accurately.
• Experience with manual and automated pension calculations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong prioritisation and time management abilities.
• Team-focused yet able to work independently when needed.
• Collaborative and approachable working style with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Visible, engaged approach that supports the team throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out data mining and processing projects and events with high accuracy.
• Collecting, checking and inputting data correctly.
• Running data reports and preparing member correspondence and client reports.
• Performing manual and automated pension calculations for events like leavers and retirements.
• Using data mining techniques to find information in member files.
• Reviewing Scheme Booklets, Trust Deeds, Rules, and Benefit Specifications.
• Ensuring work complies with pension regulations including GMP/GMPE.
• Liaising with stakeholders by email, phone and meetings to provide updates.
• Working with team members and supporting teams to ensure smooth delivery.
• Prioritising tasks to meet deadlines and allowing time for peer review.
• Preparing and checking member correspondence and client reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Using Advanced Excel and Word to support reporting and administration.
