Hawthorne-Finch Talent Solutions is seeking a Pensions Solicitor in Leeds. The role offers a mix of advisory, transactional and documentation work within a supportive team, with ownership of matters as you grow.

You’ll support senior colleagues and contribute to business development while delivering high-quality client service. Qualified solicitor in England & Wales, 1–6 years’ PQE in pensions law, and strong communication are required.

Pensions Solicitor

Location: Leeds

Salary: £55,000 to £85,000 (depending on experience)

Our client’s Employment, Pensions and Immigration team advises employers across the UK on the full range of pensions issues. You’ll support senior colleagues on a varied caseload, take ownership of matters as you grow, and contribute to business development activity in a way that feels natural and sustainable.

This role offers a mix of advisory, transactional and documentation work, with the chance to work closely with experienced colleagues and develop your technical confidence. You’ll be trusted to manage your time well, build relationships with clients, and deliver a high standard of service.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing a mixed caseload of pensions matters
• Advising on a range of private and public sector pension schemes
• Drafting and reviewing pensions documentation and supporting transactional work
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients and key stakeholders
• Supporting innovation and product development initiatives within the team
• Contributing to business development, including attending events and supporting wider BD activity
• Working in line with client and internal service level expectations

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales
• 1 to 6 years’ PQE with experience in pensions law
• Experience across relevant advisory, transactional and documentation work
• Technically strong, with clear and confident communication
• Able to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
• Strong time management and organisation, with a methodical approach
• Genuine interest in developing a long-term career in pensions
