Job summary

The Pensions Consultant role at Aon focuses on governance of DB and DC pension schemes within the Trustee Retirement Consulting Team, working with trustees, sponsors and colleagues to deliver specialist governance insights and drive project work.

Based in any UK office with hybrid home/office working, you will own client projects, build relationships, conduct governance reviews, risk assessment and strategy work across diverse clients.

Qualifications

• Experience with defined benefit or defined contribution pensions.
• Strong communication and numeracy skills.
• Ability to work in teams and individually with a flexible, can-do attitude.
• Willingness to contribute ideas for improvements and proposition development.
• Good project oversight, time management and organisation skills.
• Professional qualification (e.g. APMI, PRINCE2) is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Deliver governance and client management services across trustees and sponsors.
• Lead and own projects for clients or within a wider project team.
• Collaborate with administration, project consultancy and risk teams in a unified approach.
