Job summary

Gallagher Benefit Services seeks a Pensions Consultant to join the First Actuarial team, based in Basingstoke, Leeds, Peterborough or Tonbridge. You will deliver governance, secretariat and advisory services to a diverse client portfolio, coordinating trustee meetings and maintaining essential governance documentation.

You’ll work closely with clients and internal teams, bringing strong communication and organisational skills, and a proactive, collaborative approach to complex pension governance

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in pension scheme governance.
• Client-focused relationship management experience.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• In-depth understanding of pension scheme requirements.
• Track record of collaborative success with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert consultancy and governance services to a diverse client portfolio.
• Coordinate Trustee and client meetings, agendas, minutes, and action tracking.
• Maintain governance documentation, ensuring compliance with scheme governance requirements.
• Lead and support projects with detailed project plans and timely delivery.
• Produce high-quality reports and presentations for internal and external audiences.
• Support onboarding of new clients and contribute to proposals and tenders.
• Collaborate with specialist consultancy team to deliver trusted advice.
