Job summary

Medivet is seeking a Pensions and Benefits Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate administration of employee pension schemes and benefits within payroll.

You will be the subject matter expert on pensions, salary sacrifice and benefits, working with colleagues across Payroll, People and Finance, and with external providers to improve services.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in pensions, benefits and payroll administration.
• Strong knowledge of workplace pension schemes and auto-enrolment legislation.
• Experience administering employee benefit programmes, including salary sacrifice arrangements.
• Confidence managing pension contribution reconciliations and discrepancies.
• Experience working with payroll, HR and pension administration systems.
• Good understanding of HMRC requirements, statutory obligations and pensions governance.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build relationships with colleagues, external providers and stakeholders.
• Proactive and organized with multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee workplace pension administration including auto-enrolment.
• Prepare and reconcile pension contributions and benefits deductions.
• Administer benefits such as private medical insurance and salary sacrifice schemes.
• Provide expert guidance on pension and benefits queries.
• Ensure compliance with Pensions Regulator, HMRC, auto-enrolment and GDPR.
• Support P11D and P11D(b) reporting and audits.
• Collaborate with Payroll, People and Finance and external providers.
• Identify process improvements to strengthen controls.
