  • Ensuring accuracy: Preparing, validating and reconciling pension contributions and benefits deductions, ensuring accurate payroll processing and timely submissions to providers.

  • Supporting employee benefits: Administering a range of benefits, including private medical insurance, life assurance, health cash plans, salary sacrifice arrangements, Cycle to Work and other voluntary benefits.

  • Providing expert guidance: Acting as a key point of contact for payroll-related pension and benefits queries, helping colleagues understand their arrangements and resolving complex issues.

  • Driving improvements: Identifying opportunities to simplify processes, strengthen controls and improve the overall colleague experience.

What you’ll bring:

  • Significant experience in pensions, benefits and payroll administration, ideally within a complex or multi-site organisation.

  • Strong knowledge of workplace pension schemes and auto-enrolment legislation, including enrolment, re-enrolment and compliance requirements.

  • Experience working with payroll, HR and pension administration systems.

  • A good understanding of relevant HMRC requirements, statutory obligations and pensions governance.

  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential employee information accurately.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain complex pension and benefit matters clearly.
