You will advise trustee boards on trust-based pension arrangements, including governance, administration, and provider due diligence. The role is client- and board-facing, with emphasis on clear, persuasive recommendations and strategic leadership.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with trust-based pension schemes (DC and DB).
• Strong knowledge of the UK pensions landscape and regulatory developments.
• Proven ability to present to trustee boards and influence senior stakeholders.
• Professional services background with accountability for client delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise across trust-based pension schemes.
• Research and evaluate pension providers and monitor market developments.
• Analyze providers’ service structures and delivery models.
• Lead strategic reviews to improve pension provision and member outcomes.
• Present findings clearly to trustee boards and senior stakeholders.
• Develop practical, evidence-based solutions and ensure feasibility.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement solutions.
• Produce clear reports to inform decision-making at senior levels.
