Job summary

Referment is partnering with a UK analytics and actuarial consultancy whose pensions actuarial department advises trustees and sponsors on a wide range of defined benefit issues. The role offers exposure across actuarial valuations, member options and pension risk transfer, with a flexible split tailored to strengths and interests.

Qualifications

• Qualified pensions actuary with demonstrable UK consulting experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of valuations and member options calculations.
• Ability to draft clear communications and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate actuarial calculations with colleagues and review the associated advice.
• Take a central role in broking and projects within pension risk transfer.
• Work on schemes of varying size, from small to large and complex.
• Opportunity to cover longevity, GMP equalisation and Collective Defined Contribution schemes.
• Attend industry networking events.
