Job summary

Legal & General is seeking a Liability Data Analyst to join the Payroll & Reinsurance team within Institutional Retirement in the UK. You will help ensure liability data used in Pension Risk Transfer is accurate and delivered to high standards, working with stakeholders across the business to understand requirements and improve data quality.

The role offers exposure to pension risk transfer operations, data governance, and opportunities to develop technical analytical skills in Excel, Python,

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Experience with complex data sets.
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Knowledge of Python, SAS or SQL would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of Defined Benefit pensions would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage data cleansing, validation and transformation activities.
• Support Pension Risk Transfer transactions from end to end.
• Consult with stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Improve the quality and integrity of data across systems.
• Support testing activities and document operational processes.
• Maintain accurate audit trails and governance standards.
• Deliver timely and accurate data solutions to internal customers.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
