Job summary

Legal & General is seeking a Data, AI & Emerging Technology Risk Senior Analyst to join our Group Risk team. You’ll shape how risk is overseen across fast-moving tech areas, ensuring responsible data, AI, and emerging tech governance and controls.

You will collaborate with senior stakeholders, provide independent oversight, and help navigate evolving regulatory and technology landscapes while challenging and improving risk management practices.

Qualifications

Experience in second line risk, audit or assurance within Financial Services.
Knowledge of data governance, data management, AI governance, privacy or technology risk.
Ability to challenge constructively and influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
Strong report writing, communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Providing second line oversight of Data, AI and Emerging Technology risk frameworks.
Reviewing governance, controls and risk management activities across the business.
Supporting assurance reviews and thematic risk assessments.
Monitoring emerging technology trends and identifying potential risks and opportunities.
Producing insightful reports and papers for senior leadership and risk committees.
Working with first line teams to assess policy implementation and control effectiveness.
Developing meaningful risk metrics and management information.
Building strong relationships with stakeholders across technology, data and risk functions.
