Job summary

BAE Systems Digital Intelligence in the UK is seeking a Security Testing Consultant – Penetration Tester to join our cyber threat intelligence team. You will assess and test security across web, cloud and infrastructure, delivering clear, actionable findings to clients.

This role requires travel within the UK and internationally, and a commitment to continuous development toward CHECK Team Member status. We offer Hybrid Working and opportunities to work on high‑profile defence and security

Qualifications

• Experience in penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, or related security role.
• Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and network security fundamentals.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Support security testing engagements across web apps, infrastructures, cloud environments and external surfaces.
• Perform and deliver assessments independently under supervision of senior consultants.
• Document vulnerabilities with remediation guidance and professional reports.
• Collaborate with Security Testing, Threat Intelligence and Incident Response teams to deliver client outcomes.
• Contribute to tooling, automation, and research initiatives.
