Job summary

BAE Systems Digital Intelligence is seeking a Security Testing Consultant (Penetration Tester) to join our CTS team on engagements across web apps, infrastructure, cloud, and external surfaces. You will perform assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and deliver actionable remediation guidance in clear reports to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience with Burp Suite, Nmap, Nessus, Metasploit and related tools is valued.

Qualifications

Experience in penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, systems administration, software development, or a closely related security role.
Understanding of security testing methodologies, tools and techniques across Web App, Infrastructure and API security.
Ability to communicate findings clearly in reports and discussions.

Responsibilities

Deliver security testing engagements across web apps, infrastructure, cloud environments and external surfaces.
Perform and deliver assessments independently and under supervision, following established methodologies.
Identify vulnerabilities and provide remediation guidance with clear reports.
Utilise security tools in line with company standards and client requirements.
Collaborate with Security Testing, Threat Intelligence, Incident Response and Consulting teams.
Contribute to internal tooling, automation, testing methodologies, and research.
Stay informed on threats and security techniques; pursue CHECK Team Member status within 6 months.
Travel within the UK and internationally when required.
