Job summary

Citation Cyber is a UK-based cyber security consultancy delivering penetration testing, training and managed services. We seek a Security Consultant to join our penetration testing team, delivering assessments across client environments and helping strengthen cyber resilience.

You will produce high-quality reports, present findings to clients, and contribute to tooling and knowledge sharing within a collaborative, growth-focused team. Hybrid UK work model offered.

Qualifications

• Commercial penetration testing experience in a consultancy or equivalent.
• Strong technical reporting skills.
• Experience conducting infrastructure and web application penetration tests.
• Good understanding of Windows, Linux and Active Directory environments.
• Familiarity with Azure and/or AWS security testing.
• Experience using industry-standard penetration testing tools and methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A passion for continuous learning and technical development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide range of penetration testing across client environments.
• Conduct infrastructure or web application pen tests and cloud security assessments.
• Produce clear, high-quality technical reports and remediation advice.
• Present findings to clients and support vulnerability validation and re-testing.
• Contribute to internal tooling, research and knowledge sharing.
