Job Description:

The Industry Assurance team in Cyber Growth manages the Assured Penetration Testing Scheme for a public sector client, emphasizing mandatory or strongly recommended testing across departments and infrastructure.

The team evaluates the methodology and work of all scheme participants from application through their entire tenure. Support is provided to improve performance, and removal from the scheme is considered if necessary.

We seek a senior penetration tester experienced in quality assuring the output of other testers in operational settings. Experience as an assessor for a penetration testing exam body is also desirable.

Preferably, candidates will have prior experience with the Scheme but should not currently have contracts that could pose conflicts of interest.

The candidate should also have experience as a senior member of an adversary simulation team, overseeing and quality assuring team outputs.

Responsibilities include:

• Sampling reports throughout the year to ensure compliance and technical capability.
• Sampling reports from new Team Leaders and providing coaching/remedial support as needed.
• Managing new applications from companies wishing to join the Scheme.

SC Clearance is required.

The role is predominantly remote (90%), with occasional meetings in Gloucestershire or London.
