Job Description:

The Industry Assurance team in Cyber Growth runs the Assured Penetration Testing Scheme on behalf of a public sector client, which mandates or strongly recommends such testing across all departments and infrastructure.

The team assesses the methodology and work of all members of the scheme from application to completion. Members are supported to improve or, if necessary, removed from the scheme.

We require someone with experience as a senior penetration tester responsible for quality assurance of other penetration testers' output in an operational environment. Experience as an assessor for a penetration testing exam body is also desirable.

Ideally, the candidate will have previous experience working within the Scheme but should not currently have contracts to avoid conflicts of interest.

The successful candidate should also have experience as a senior member of an adversary simulation team, overseeing and quality assuring team outputs.

The role involves:

• Sampling reports to ensure adherence to standards and maintaining technical capability for scheme continuation.
• Sampling and coaching new Team Leaders’ reports, providing remedial activities when necessary.
• Processing new applications from companies wishing to join the Scheme.

SC Clearance is required for this role.

The role will be 90% remote, with occasional meetings in Gloucestershire or London.
