Job Description:

The Industry Assurance team in Cyber Growth runs the Assured Penetration Testing Scheme on behalf of a public sector client, which mandates or strongly recommends such testing across all departments and infrastructure.

The team assesses the methodology and work of all scheme members from application to completion. Members are supported to improve or, if necessary, are removed from the scheme.

We seek someone with experience as a senior penetration tester responsible for quality assurance of other testers' output, ideally in an operational environment. Experience as an assessor for a penetration testing exam body is also valued.

Preferably, the candidate has prior experience in the Scheme but should not have current contracts to avoid conflicts of interest.

The individual should also have experience as a senior member of an adversary simulation team, overseeing and quality assuring team outputs.

The role involves:

• Sampling reports to ensure compliance and technical capability.
• Sampling and coaching new Team Leaders' reports, providing remedial support if needed.
• Processing new applications for scheme membership.

SC Clearance is required.

The role is primarily remote (90%), with occasional meetings in Gloucestershire or London.
