Job Description:

The Industry Assurance team in Cyber Growth runs the Assured Penetration Testing Scheme on behalf of a public sector client, which mandates or strongly recommends such testing across all departments and infrastructure.

The team assesses the methodology and work of all scheme members from application to completion, supporting improvements or removing members if necessary.

We require a senior penetration tester with experience in quality assuring the output of other testers in an operational environment. Experience as an assessor for a penetration testing exam body is also desirable.

Ideally, you will have worked in the Scheme previously but should not currently have contracts to avoid conflicts of interest.

The candidate should also have experience as a senior member of an adversary simulation team, overseeing and quality assuring team outputs.

You will undertake tasks including:

• Sampling reports to ensure adherence to standards and technical capability.
• Sampling and coaching new Team Leaders’ reports, providing remedial activities if needed.
• Processing new applications from companies wishing to join the Scheme.

SC Clearance is required for this role.

The role is 90% remote, with occasional meetings in Gloucestershire or London.
