A leading company in Cyber Growth is looking for a senior penetration tester to ensure quality assurance of testing outputs. This role involves overseeing the methodology and work quality of a dedicated team within the Assured Penetration Testing Scheme. The role is primarily remote with some onsite meetings in Gloucestershire or London.

Qualifications

• Experience as a senior penetration tester.
• Experience as an assessor for a penetration testing exam body is valuable.
• Previous experience working in the Scheme is preferred but not current contracts.

Job Description:

The Industry Assurance team in Cyber Growth runs the Assured Penetration Testing Scheme on behalf of a public sector client, which mandates or strongly recommends such testing across all departments and infrastructure.

The team assesses the methodology and work of all scheme members from application through their participation. Members are supported to improve, or removed if necessary.

We seek someone with experience as a senior penetration tester responsible for quality assurance of other testers' output, ideally in an operational environment. Experience as an assessor for a penetration testing exam body is also valuable.

Previous experience working in the Scheme is preferred but not current contracts, to avoid conflicts of interest.

The candidate should also have experience as a senior adversary simulation team member, overseeing and quality assuring others' work.

You will undertake tasks such as:

• Sampling reports to ensure compliance and technical capability.
• Sampling and coaching new Team Leaders' reports.
• Managing new applications to join the Scheme.

SC Clearance is required for this role.

The role is 90% remote, with occasional meetings in Gloucestershire or London.
